Warranty Information
At Dragan Systems, we are proud to build rugged, reliable products right here in the USA. We stand behind our craftsmanship with a solid warranty to give you peace of mind on every adventure.
Limited 1-Year Warranty
Your Dragan Systems pocket winch is warranted to be free from defects in materials and workmanship for 1 years from the date of purchase. If your pocket winch fails due to a manufacturing defect during this period, we’ll repair or replace it at our discretion—no hassle, no excuses.
What’s Covered
- Defects in materials or manufacturing
- Parts and labor for repairs, or a replacement pocket winch if we can’t fix it.
What’s Not Covered
- Damage from misuse, abuse, or neglect.
- Normal wear and tear.
- Damage to lines and slings (These are considered consumable items)
- Modifications or repairs not performed by Dragan Systems or an authorized service provider.
- Issues caused by failure to follow the included care and use instructions.
- Shipping costs to and from our warranty service center.
How to Make a Warranty Claim
- Contact us at support@dragansystems.com within the warranty period. Have your proof of purchase (e.g., receipt or order number) ready—we’ll need to verify the purchase date.
- Describe the issue, and we’ll provide a Warranty Authorization (WA) number. Claims without a WA number can’t be processed.
- Ship the winch to us (securely packed, please!) with the WA number clearly marked on the package. We recommend using a trackable carrier.
- Once we receive and inspect it, we’ll repair or replace the pocket winch and ship it back to you within 10-15 business days, at no cost for parts or labor. (Note: You’re responsible for shipping it to us, but we’ll cover the return shipping.)
Warranty Limitations
This warranty is valid only for the original purchaser and is not transferable. It applies only to products purchased directly from Dragan Systems or our authorized retailers. Our liability is limited to the repair or replacement of the Pocket-Winch — we are not responsible for incidental or consequential damages.

Instructions: Dragan Pod
Download the quick start PDF guide on how to setup and use the Dragan Systems Dragan Pod.
Although the Dragan Pod setup is straightforward, here are the steps to help you get started!
-
Unpack the Pod components and remove the retaining clips.
-
Assemble the tube segments to desired height. Note the recommended load reduces with length; 1-Segment:1000lbs, 2-Segments:750lbs, 3-Segments:500lbs.
- Insert the foot into the bottom tube.
- Insert the tube retaining clips
- Insert the crown on the top segment.
- Ensure the top pulley is in the forward position (the middle position will be used for upcoming Pocket Winch accessories).
- Attach the Pocket Winch to the crown.
- Unscrew the red line-retaining screws, place the line across the top of the pulley wheels, then resecure the screws.
- Unspool the line from the Pocket Winch until there are three wraps remaining on the spool.
- Use the Capio to attach the load and use the guy shackles to stabilize the Pod as necessary. Note: It is OK if pulley wheel(s) do not rotate during use depending on the load and condition.
