The Dragan Pocket Winch Kit and Dragan Pod Bundle is a compact portable lifting system. The total weight of this bundle is approximately 3lbs and breaks down for easy storage and is designed for lifting motorcycles, ATVs, side-by-sides, small trailers, aircraft tail wheels, and other equipment in the field.

Introducing the Dragan Pod

After more than a year of development, testing, and refinement, the Dragan Pod is ready for its first production run.

Designed as a modular companion to the Pocket Winch, the Dragan Pod expands the system from pulling into portable lifting. Its lightweight carbon-fiber sections break down into a compact package, making it practical to carry into places where a conventional jack would be too large or heavy.

This first production round marks the next step in bringing the Dragan Pod out of development and into the field.

Made for the Tool You Already Carry

The Pocket Winch gives you powerful pulling capability without the size and weight of a conventional winch. The Dragan Pod expands what that system can do.

Instead of carrying another large, single-purpose tool, you can use the Pocket Winch you already own as part of a compact lifting system for field repairs, maintenance, loading, and equipment positioning.

The Dragan Pod is an attachment and is not a complete lifting system by itself. A Dragan Pocket Winch is required for operation.

Lift compatible small trailers and equipment when a conventional jack is unavailable, damaged, or difficult to position.

Raise the tail wheel of a compatible small aircraft using an approved attachment method for inspection, service, or repositioning.

Use controlled lifting power around a truck bed or tailgate to help raise and position heavy or awkward items.

At approximately 1.5 pounds, the Dragan Pod is designed to travel into places where carrying conventional lifting equipment would be impractical.

Although the Dragan Pod setup is straightforward, here are the steps to help you get started!

  1. Unpack the Pod components and remove the retaining clips.
  2.  Assemble the tube segments to desired height. Note the recommended load reduces with length; 1-Segment:1000lbs, 2-Segments:750lbs, 3-Segments:500lbs.
  3. Insert the foot into the bottom tube.
  4. Insert the tube retaining clips
  5. Insert the crown on the top segment.
  6. Ensure the top pulley is in the forward position (the middle position will be used for upcoming Pocket Winch accessories).
  7. Attach the Pocket Winch to the crown.
  8. Unscrew the red line-retaining screws, place the line across the top of the pulley wheels, then resecure the screws.
  9. Unspool the line from the Pocket Winch until there are three wraps remaining on the spool.
  10. Use the Capio to attach the load and use the guy shackles to stabilize the Pod as necessary. Note: It is OK if pulley wheel(s) do not rotate during use depending on the load and condition.
